Florida Animal Protection Foundation

Florida Animal Protection Foundation (FAPF)  is a non-profit organization that was created to help our member agencies improve their standards of animal protection and control programs throughout Florida.  The Small Organization Support (SOS) program was created to help small agencies with limited resources.  With our foundation, we are able to help more agencies because of our non-profit designation through our sponsors and donors.

The SOS Program provides financial support to qualifying member organizations to assist with an improvement effort, initiative, or approved training, including scholarships to the 2024 training conference.

Eligibility:  Any small organization that received SOS funds in 2023, will not be eligible for funding in 2024, as this opportunity is limited to once every two years. Additionally, in order to be eligible for the Small Organization Support program, an organization must:

  1. Be a regular Agency Member of FAPAA in good standing for both 2023 and 2024.
  2. Provide the animal protection and control function in their community
  3. Have twenty-five (25) or fewer employees
  4. Submit an application for consideration prior to the deadline of February 9th, 2024 (requests for 2024 conference attendance shall be submitted no later than January 12th, 2024)
