Animal Control Officer of the Year


Open to ANYONE who is certified, regardless of position.

BASE CRITERIA for Animal Control Officer of the Year award:

  1. Must be employed at an agency that is a current Regular Member of FAPAA.
  2. Must have been actively involved in the animal control/protection profession since at least January 1st, 2023.
  3. Can be nominated for a single outstanding achievement in animal control/protection or for exceptional performance for the year nominated.

ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER OF THE YEAR NOMINATION FORM:  This form must be included with nomination 2024 FAPAA ACO of the Year

NARRATIVE OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS/PERFORMANCE:  Please include separately, along with any supporting documents, letters of recommendation, etc., and submit with this form.

PHOTOS: Mandatory requirement for all awards. Please include at least one (1) quality jpeg image of the nominee for use during the awards presentation.

DEADLINE: All nominations must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on December 31, 2023.
